Miss Cox's Week of May 31-June 4

Students will be continuing Science this week. They will be working in groups Monday-Wednesday, and presenting on Thursday and Friday. The presentations will be on the 8 planets, Pluto, comets, asteroids, and meteoroids. The project will be completely done in school, but be prepared to possibly send in some supplies.

Miss Cox's Week of May 24-28

Students will be continuing Science this week. We will be learning
about why we have seasons and why the Moon changes its appearance.
Please keep an eye out at night for clear skies. Look at the stars and
especially at the moon. Students, tell your parents about what you are
learning. Parents, I know some of you have telescopes at home; take
them out and enjoy some time outside with your children. Also, please
remember that the Chapter 15 Social Studies project is due Friday. Let
me know if there is anything special that you need if you are doing a
presentation.

Miss Cox's Week of May 10-14

Students will be continuing Social Studies this week. We will
learning about and discussing the Reformation. You can talk with your
children about what the Reformation may have done for their church
today. They will also be learning about exploration and colonization
of the Americas.
