Students will be continuing Social Studies early this week with the review on Monday and the Chapter 10 test on Tuesday. This week, we will also be doing a unit on drugs and alcohol. Please be aware that your children will ask to do research and printing on the computer. They also have access to computers during their recess if they are unable to do so at home. Your children may also come home with questions about drugs and alcohol. Please talk with them about the dangers of such substances and encourage them to make good decisions.
Homework:
Monday: w/s 94,95 and lesson 1 poster due today; study guide due Tuesday
Tuesday: Test Today!; research worksheet on assigned type of drug
Wednesday: bring in a magazine/ Internet advertisement for alcohol
Thursday: create your alcohol “Truth” poster
Friday: Enjoy your weekend!
