Ms. Reid's class for January 25-29
The students will be taking a grammar test to cover Unit 3 and all previous information on Tuesday, January 26.
The students will also be writing their first persuasive writing speech as they prepare for a mock election. Ask them what I'm talking about!
We are continuing to read The Janitor’s Boy in literature and apply the skills we discussed in the first part of the year. We will begin to look for different of story elements as we read. This past week we looked at personification, simile, and metaphor.

Miss Cox's Week of January 25-29
Students will be having a combination of Social Studies and Health for the week. Monday through Thursday will be devoted to the study of relationships and communication. Friday, January 29th will be our special Greek and Roman Festival day! Students should be prepared to bring their traditional dress and traditional food. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.
