The Fairy Tale Booklet is due on Wednesday, November 18. The students have had over two weeks to be working on this, so they should not be up late Tuesday night cramming the work in. Please check with them this weekend to see that they have been making adequate progress.
Last week the students were introduced to transitive verbs and direct objects. We will review the new information on Monday and then spend time this week assimilating the new information into what we have already learned this year. Remember that language instruction this year is not a process of looking at one piece of information and excluding all others. All information will be pieced together to create a network of understanding. For this reason, the students should constantly be reviewing old material as they study new material.
