It was a pleasure to meet and visit with many of you at our open house Friday afternoon. We’re looking forward to a great year in sixth grade!
The beginning of the week (Aug. 31-Sept. 4) will bring an end to our chapter one review. We will have our chapter one math test on Tuesday, September 1. On Wednesday we will dive into chapter two and our introduction to basic algebra.
Math/Bible (Homework is in parentheses)
Monday: Ch. 1 Review (Practice Test)
Tuesday: Bible Lesson 2 (p.11-14 in Bible workbook)
Wednesday: 2.1 Algebra: Expression (PW6)
Thursday: 2.2 Algebra: Mental Math and Equations (PW7)
Friday: No Homework – use blog resources to study
You child should have shown you a five question quiz from last Wednesday and be keeping you up to speed with his/her performance on assignments he/she completes in the math workbook. The “Practice Workbook” - “PW” will be a catalogue of the majority of student homework for the year.
